This 32 year-old woman requested enhancement of the lips. This was done with an alloderm implant that provides a soft, natural feeling augmentation to the lip. Alloderm implants are for surgical augmentation; whereas Restylane allows for in-office augmentation via injection. The follow up pictures are 3 weeks after the surgical procedure.

Frontal: The change in the lips provides a second focal point for the patient's face: we are now drawn to the lips and to her eyes. The size is appropriate for her facial shape.

Close-up: A great side effect of lip augmentation is that the fine lines around the lips and the lines on the lip are reduced by the added volume of the lips. This makes lipstick easier to apply with less bleeding.
